Planning Applications
The Community Council does not have responsibility for determining planning applications, but as a statutory consultee is invited to comment on all planning applications within its boundaries.
Full details of all planning applications can be viewed by accessing the Isle of Anglesey County Council's planning website where there is an opportunity for you to comment directly.
Walking
Those wishing to enjoy the countryside and coastline can either follow section 10 of the Anglesey Coastal Path or choose from about 30 footpaths that link our villages and run through areas of outstanding natural beauty and sites of special scientific in and around Valley Wetlands RSPB reserve.
Full details of the public footpaths are available on the Isle of Anglesey Website
The Community Council is responsible for overseeing and cutting the public footpaths and we hope that you can help us ensure that they are properly maintained by reporting any problems to the clerk.
In the meantime we hope that you will "Respect, Protect, Enjoy" and abide by the Countryside Code:
Be Safe; plan ahead and follow any signs
Leave gates and property as you find them
Protect plants and animals, and take your litter home
Keep dogs under close control
Consider other people.
Thank you!
